Resident poker pro advises on changes
32Red plc subsidiary Betdirect will be working on major improvements to its online poker service in the coming weeks as part of a complete re-design of the website.
The changes are in line with the recent rebranding of Betdirect's four e-gaming products and is designed to reflect the company's philosophy of being, straight, open and fair according to a press release this week.
The design of the new website will make full use of Betdirect poker's resident professional, Angus Dunnington, and will make his expertise and invaluable hints and tips available to all visitors to the new site.
32 Red PR chief Charlie McCann says, "We will make sure the poker novice is catered for with a step by step guide including background information on the history and rules, giving the reader a greater knowledge of the basics and a wider understanding of poker. No player will ever be in the dark again at Betdirect Poker.com."
The redeveloped site is also set to include more detailed information on poker tournaments and poker promotions, which is intended to allow players to enjoy the benefits of free chips and top promotions more often.
However, probably the most immediate and obvious change to the new site is the ease with which players will be able to navigate through the various pages online. The aim and expectation is that Betdirect will become a valuable resource to all players, no matter how experienced or inexperienced, and not simply a place to download poker software.
Betdirect was established in the UK in 1998 and is a well established online and telephone bookmaker. The company was recently acquired by the AIM listed 32Red plc, and was nominated for both Mobile Operator of the Year and Multi Channel Operator of the Year at the 2006 eGaming Awards. The firm provides online betting for a range of sporting activities including football, horse racing, greyhounds, golf, and tennis, offering customer special offers on betting daily. |
